Job Description:

Reliance Steel & Aluminum is seeking a motivated and resilient Online Chat Support Assistant to join our team in Indianapolis, Indiana. This part-time position at the Associate level offers an exciting opportunity to enhance your skills in a dynamic work environment. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in a customer service or support role.

Responsibilities:1. Provide online chat support to customers, addressing their inquiries and resolving any issues promptly and professionally.2. Assist customers in navigating our website, locating products, and completing transactions.3. Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless customer support across various channels.4. Analyze customer feedback and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.5. Participate in negotiations with customers to provide tailored solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements:1. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.2. Strong analytical skills to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.3. Ability to negotiate effectively and resolve conflicts in a professional manner.4. Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software is a plus.5. Previous experience in online customer support or a similar role is preferred.6. Motivated and resilient attitude with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
