Job Description:
As a Support Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in delivering personalized support to patients and caregivers throughout their treatment journey. You will serve as the primary point of contact, offering guidance, education, and assistance to ensure patients receive the support they need. This fully remote role requires flexibility and a strong commitment to patient care.
Responsibilities:
Provide personalized onboarding experience and long-term adherence support to patients
Share valuable resources and information on disease education, community resources, and treatment support
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of available resources and programs
Conduct welcome calls to introduce patients to support programs and confirm their needs
Assist patients in navigating financial assistance programs and insurance coverage
Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless support for patients
Actively engage with internal and external stakeholders to address patient needs and resolve barriers to treatment
Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and caregivers throughout their journey
Requirements:
3 to 5 years of experience in case management or related fields
Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and adapt to a changing work environment
Bachelor's degree preferred; experience in patient support programs is a plus
Familiarity with legal and regulatory components of the pharmaceutical industry
Empathetic nature and ability to work with urgency and flexibility
Strong organizational skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
