Definition of Class This position performs a variety of routine clerical duties in support of the department or unit. The incumbent follows established office procedures to complete routine clerical support assignments. 
Examples of Work Performed Performs general routine clerical duties to include operation of standard office equipment. Opens, sorts, and routes incoming mail and prepares outgoing mail. Places calls and answers incoming telephone calls. Performs data entry, typing, or other word processing tasks. Completes tasks in support of maintaining records, such as filing, sorting, or labelling of documents. Provides assistance with tasks such as copying, faxing, delivering or organizing supplies. Performs similar or related duties as assigned or required. Essential Functions The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following. Additional essential functions may be identified and included by the hiring department.
Performs a variety of routine clerical duties in support of the department or unit. Minimum Education/Experience Education:
Graduation from a standard four-year high school or equivalent (GED).
