Schedule : Full Time Variable Hour/ Weekends
Position Location/Department: Dietary
Job Summary: Preparing and serving food to patients in the facility. Delivering food and ensuring good sanitary conditions in all aspects of the job
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Taking orders, preparing food & delivering trays. Ensuring patients are given the correct food allowed on diets. Taking temperatures on food and cooling units required. Following guidelines so that department is inspection ready at all times. Taking care of stock when needed following FIFO Discard leftovers, check for outdated food, and take out garbage. Making sure Sanitation is done as required. Performs other related duties as assigned. Education, Experience and Other Requirements: Checking hospital email at least once per work day since primary source of communication High School Diploma, Food Safety Class Positive attitude
