A reputable hospital in Maryland is actively seeking a Nurse Manager Behavioral Health to join their team.

The Nurse Manager Behavioral Health will work for a 300+ bed facility known for both their acute care hospital and rehab center. The Nurse Manager Behavioral Health will oversee an inpatient psychiatric and behavioral health unit that cares for voluntary and involuntary adult patients, oftentimes initially admitted  from the Emergency Department. Administrative responsibilities of the Nurse Manager Behavioral Health include overseeing department operations, scheduling, quality assurance, state and federal compliance, updating policy procedures, and managing the department budgets. Additionally, the Nurse Manager Behavioral Health is a mentor and resource and assists with new hire and continuous staff educational programming and cross collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional patient care is consistently delivered. Reporting to a Senior Director, the Nurse Manager Behavioral Health will be supported by an Assistant Nurse Manager, Educators,  Charge Nurses, Registered Nurses, Technicians, and ancillary staff. 
The Nurse Manager Behavioral Health  will be a seasoned nurse, ideally holding previous inpatient leadership experience and a clinical background working in an inpatient psychiatric or behavioral health unit. 
The hospital is located in Northern Maryland, in a suburb that is easily commutable from Maryland, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
