Millwright

Millwright is responsible for installation, maintenance, testing, and repair of machinery and equipment used in manufacturing and electrical systems, equipment, appliances, and fixtures Job Duties: Perform basic maintenance and repairs. Troubleshoot malfunctions and equipment failures. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Assemble, test, and maintain electrical equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures. Mount motors, transformers, and lighting fixtures and complete circuits according to diagram specifications. Dismantle, repair, replace defective electrical or mechanical parts such as gears, brushes, and armatures. Basic hydraulic skills, understanding of production equipment and ability to use stick, cutting, arc gouging, and wire welding equipment. Understanding of safety protocols, Lock Out/Tag Out processes, and other mechanical safety processes. Lift up to 75lbs, sit, stand, kneel, bend, twist. Required Education and Experience: High school diploma or G.E.D.
4 to 6 years electrical (machine electrical troubleshooting & repair) and machining experience; Technical school or skilled trade program preferred.
