Member Support Specialist – South Burlington, VT:

Vermont Federal Credit Union is recruiting for a Member Support Specialist out of our Kennedy Drive Location.

Job Description:

Performs all functions related to the collateral protection insurance program, including reporting, premium and refund postings including member support.
Processes premiums and claims for GAP, MBP, Collateral Protection Insurance and Debt Cancellation.
Monitors and updates all credit reporting disputes within E-Oscar and updates core database accordingly for reporting purposes.
Ensure that all direct and indirect Credit Disputes are logged into the system, scanned, and responded to within appropriate systems in a timely manner.
To monitor and control the Collateral Protection Program, GAP and MBP program and Debt Cancellation Program.
To Maintain courteous and professional working relationship with internal and external customers.
To maintain a working knowledge of the credit union's loan standards and governmental regulations.
To notify members of CPI postings and payment changes to their accounts on a monthly basis.
To coordinate GAP program including settlement, claims, and cancellations.
To maintain a working knowledge of our third party insurance tracking system.
To coordinate Allied Payment Protection.
Ensure that communication to members is done in a timely manner regarding ancillary products at payoff.
Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent.
One year experience in financial industry or customer service preferred.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a variety of software programs.
