Medical Assistant/Medical Receptionist

Medical Assistant/Medical Reception If you enjoy working in a collaborative environment this position is for you! Located in Flint with a satellite location in Lapeer, you will be able to show off your skills in both front and back-office duties, which will give you valuable knowledge to grow in your career in the medical office setting.
Hours : Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm.
Wednesday is a half day in Flint and a half day in Lapeer. Compensation: Competitive salary with mileage reimbursement between office locations.
Responsibilities:
Answering phones and scheduling appointments Verifying insurance coverage and obtaining prior authorizations Greeting patients, rooming patients and taking vital signs Assisting with administrative tasks as needed. Requirements:
1-2 years as a Medical Assistant Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently Proficiency with basic computer programs and medical office software
