Medical Assistant

We're seeking a Certified Medical Assistant who is highly motivated and has strong interpersonal skills. The primary duty of the Certified Medical Assistant is to support the Attending Physician in his/her private practice by performing administrative work and patient care duties. A successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of primary care, including patient intake, medical histories and physical exams. Responsibilities:
Receives, documents, and transmits medical information and tests to clinicians. Reviews and interprets vital signs, test results, and patient statements as directed by clinician. Promptly alerts clinician if patient condition changes significantly. Organizes files, equipment and instruments according to departmental policy. Attends required educational training sessions and seminars. Communicates with other health care providers as required.
