Job Description Primary Duties & Responsibilities The person will help with engineering projects for the coating department. The candidate will work with and do task for other engineers in the department. Education & Experience Minimum 2 - 4 years of course work completed from an accredited university in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or other applicable college programs. Skills Strong, hands-on mechanical aptitude to build and assemble equipment. Ability to design parts and make revisions to drawings for equipment ad assemblies. Some knowledge of electrical assembly is a plus. CAD skills are a plus. Consistent good safety practices are essential. Forward thinker. Team-oriented. Excellent interpersonal skills. Good communication, both verbal and nonverbal. Working Conditions Office, work shop and clean room environment within manufacturing facility. Must be able to work with power tools, hand tools, radioactive materials and other toxic chemicals Physical Requirements Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs Safety Requirements All employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp.
