Mechanical Design Engineer - Casper, WY Pay scale in job posting is a rough estimate and will be negotiated at start based on prior education and experience Job Summary
Collaborate with internal and external customers to develop design and fabrication requirements and resolve complex technical issues Perform ASME Code pressure vessel calculations and thermal / mechanical design of shell and tube heat exchangers Utilize Solidworks to model designed equipment and create shop and customer drawings Contribute to all aspects of the HICO product life cycle by providing technical support and project management through estimating, engineering, fabrication, and fulfillment Who We Are
For over 45 years, HICO has operated in Casper, WY as one of the largest domestic manufacturers of custom pressure vessels, shell and tube heat exchangers, process towers, reactors, reboilers, scrubbers, and other process equipment Skills You'll Need
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering discipline Proficiency with Solidworks design software Basic familiarity with product lifecycle, configuration management, and project organization Exposure to materials science concepts and non-destructive testing techniques Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment Work for HICO if
