Position Description As part of the company growth strategy, we are looking for an energetic, Marketing Communications Specialist who will support the strategy, planning and execution of face-to-face and virtual events in AMER in collaboration with the sales team, as well designing and executing campaigns to support AMER market development and supporting deployment of global marketing campaigns.
Primary Responsibilities Support the development and execution of the AMER event marketing plan: select event based on plan objectives, develop the campaign brief and messaging, define an omnichannel approach to achieve objectives, and develop the assets in accordance with Olink brand. Collect and analyze competitor and market data to propose regional marketing campaigns (other than event) to support AMER marketing goals. Develop the campaign plan based on persona and customer journey and work with the Scientific Marketing Manager and other colleagues to execute the tactics and demand generation plan. Work in close collaboration with Global marketing to deploy global campaigns in AMER. Execute development of assets such as email, landing page, registration forms, promotion flyer, collaterals using tool such as Adobe Indesign, Photoshop or HubSpot and ensure brand and messaging consistency across all marketing departments. Stay up to date on marketing trends, and emerging technologies in digital marketing. Be the digital marketing reference in the AMER team. Track and measure campaign performance, ensuring metrics such as lead acquisition, conversion rates, and ROI are met or exceeded. Adjust strategies based on these metrics to optimize performance. Evaluate and manage relationships with third-party vendors, tools, and services that can support event execution and campaign deployment. Qualifications/skills Bachelor's degree in marketing or in scientific field (biology, molecular biology, cell, etc.) with the relevant amount of marketing experience. 3+ years' experience in face-to-face and virtual event design, planning, and execution and proven record of driving high return B2B marketing campaigns. Ability to manage and drive multiple projects simultaneously, with strong communication and organizational skills. Proficient in graphic and collateral design such as banner or flyers using editors such as Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Photoshop, Indesign. Hands-on experience with Marketing Automation Platform (Marketo or Hubspot) and CRM (SFDC, Oracle or Siebel) Strong understanding and use of social media for B2B business. Knowledgeable in defining and tracking key marketing metrics to drive digital campaign effectiveness. Ability to travel up to 20%.
