REPORTS TO: Marketing & Outreach Manager
LOCATION: Fresno, CA
SALARY: $25.00 to $30.00, DOE

POSITION SUMMARY: Working under direction of Marketing & Outreach Manager, the Marketing Assistant supports marketing and outreach efforts overall with a focus on the creation of digital and print content for events, presentation, social media platforms, and our website.
PRINCIPAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide general admin support across the scope of all digital marketing activities, campaigns, and research projects. Draft outreach materials such as newsletters, customer notifications, educational flyers, etc. Monitor marketing trends Create social media and website content Design and create mockups for marketing materials such as t-shirts, hats, banners, etc. Occasionally attend and/or set up booth displays for community events MINIMUM ACCEPTABLE QUALIFICATIONS: Excellent oral and written communications skills. Ability to complete tasks with limited supervision Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with all levels of staff within the company Demonstrated ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines REQUIRED ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Intermediate capability/skills with Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop). Valid Driver's License EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS :
High School diploma Prior experience in marketing, sales, or advertising PHYSICAL ABILITIES: With reasonable accommodations, if necessary, sitting for extended periods of time; hearing and speaking to exchange information and make presentations; dexterity to operate a computer and other office equipment; seeing to read a variety of materials; reaching overhead, above the shoulders and horizontally or bending at the waist.
