Manufacturing Operation Manager

Job Summary:
Wahsega is a hardware manufacturing company rapidly growing at a rate of almost 100% per year. We are looking for a highly motivated Manufacturing Operations Manager with 7-10 years of manufacturing and leadership experience to help transition our operations to the next level. The Manufacturing Operations Manager will be responsible for enabling a People First culture while leading a team in multiple areas of our Alpharetta facility in planning, organizing, and executing production plans while driving continuous improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and costs.
Someone who embraces manufacturing continuous improvement (Kaizen) and Six Sigma process in everyday operations but recognizes the point of diminishing returns.

Responsibilities:
??Process Management: Maintains a production mindset while managing job profitability.
Management of milestone dates throughout the manufacturing process to maintain production schedules, timely delivery, and meeting customer expectations.
Process Improvement: Continuously identify areas for process improvement, optimizing procedures to increase efficiency and productivity.
Forecasting using sales schedule.
Project Scheduling: Create and manage production schedules, coordinating with the sales and engineering teams to ensure projects are executed efficiently.
Team Leadership: Manage, train and mentor production staff, and foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Accountable for management of inventory, overseeing equipment maintenance, repair, and replacement as needed to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
Safety Compliance: Maintain a safe workplace by enforcing safety policies and procedures, ensuring team members are trained and equipped to work safely.
Quality Control: Implement and maintain rigorous quality control processes to ensure all products meet design specifications and develop corrective actions when necessary.
Interface with engineering for new product introductions and corrective actions for cost reductions or manufacturing defect reductions

Qualifications:
Seven (7) years of relevant experience
Minimum of five (5) years of Leadership experience in a Continuous Improvement, Lean 6 sigma manufacturing facility
Focus on innovation and team building; creating a culture of teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and safety.
Growth mindset
Bachelor's degree preferred
