Philadelphia Technician Training Institute (PTTII) seeks an individual to serve as a Manufacturing Instructor at our Berean campus. Successful applicants will be tasked with must ensuring program graduates are professionally prepared as manufacturing technicians. PTTI's graduates must be capable of making significant contributions in manufacturing facilities/industry. There will be a major emphasis on teaching. This will be executed via working with PTTI's students in various environments that include classrooms, laboratories, clinical sites, field sites and distance learning.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Teaching (40-hour work week) Plans, develops and uses effective teaching methods and materials which assist students in meeting course objectives Understand that student have diverse educational backgrounds and learning styles Engage students in learning Utilizes Microsoft Teams for instruction as needed. Maintain regular office hours, grade records. Respond to requests for information in a timely manner Attend and participate in faculty meetings Provide support for associate faculty Assist in assessment and placement of students in appropriate classes Identify student learning outcome: develop processes and tools for assessment incorporate results in order to modify instruction and materials in coordination with colleagues JOB QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE:
3+ years of field and/or instructor experiences A good understanding of the Manufacturing industry The ability to operate multi-axis machines Solid mechanical aptitude A strong understanding and experience with electronic and/or electrical wiring PLC and/or coding An associate degree or higher in Machining Technology, Industrial Technology, Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
