All of our dedicated associates possess a strong continuing focus on safety, reliability and environmental compliance.Open the door to your future at AmSty!The Accounts Payable (AP) Manager oversees all Accounts Payable activity for the Company. Duties include supervising and training staff, internal controls compliance, external audit support, and overall process improvement. Deliverables include timely and accurate processing of all invoices, including corporate card spend, with any vendor inquiries researched and resolved. This position is also responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, publishing reports, and reconciling accounts.Primary ResponsibilitiesEstablish working relationship with vendors, ensuring all vendors are paid per contractual terms and vendor inquiries are resolved in a timely mannerManage timely AP month-end close process in accordance with the corporate close scheduleDevelop and monitor operational and internal controls in compliance with US GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley, tax, and other governing authorities to ensure a clean external auditEnsure integrity and accuracy of AP financial data, identifying financial audit risks in a timely mannerEstablish and distribute key performance indicators monthly to AmSty leadership to measure performance and drive accountabilityOwn functional AP-related work processes and SAP system solution design, striving for continuous improvement; lead system testing and training, including update of documentation as requiredIdentify and implement opportunities to streamline end-to-end work processes in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholdersSupervise and train staff, establishing annual goals and objectives for each and monitoring progress to drive growth; ensure individual workloads and capability support business continuityDefine and meet service level metrics; foster a team culture of service to provide both internal and external parties with quality service to resolve invoicing issues and/or provide necessary informationSupport other Finance department objectives, including performing timely and accurate account reconciliations, preparing payment proposals, and forecasting outflow of cash disbursementsManage compliance of corporate travel and expense program, ensuring accurate financial postingsAd hoc duties and projects as assignedJob RequirementsBachelor degree in business, accounting, or similar discipline; CPA a plus10+ years of prior managerial and accounts payable experience in manufacturing or petrochemical industryProficiency with SAP and Concur and ability to learn other tools; SAP S/4 HANA preferredProficiency with MS Office Suite of products; strong Excel and analytical skills requiredSelf-driven team leader with ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentProven organization skills with strong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to problem-solve, assess issues holistically, and make sound decisions for the CompanyExcellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate and build positive working relationships with vendors and internally across all levels of the organizationFluency in Spanish a plusRelocation is not available with this position.Americas Styrenics LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, ancestry, age, disability, veteran status or marital status.To all recruitment agencies:We are not responsible for any fee related to unsolicited resumes from 3rd party staffing and recruiting agencies (whether submitted through this website or sent directly to employees) unless a written agreement is in place between the agency and Amsty ("Company")andan authorized Company representative makes a written request to the agency to assist with this requisition.
