Responsibilities
• Performs routine and/or basic mechanical maintenance throughout the assigned facility• Performs preventative maintenance on facility equipment• Performs routine custodial duties including cleaning, dusting, and high speed buffing and waxing of floors• Performs grounds upkeep as needed• Performs general carpentry and finish work including painting, patching and spackling drywall, and installing/removing flooring• Performs basic plumbing work• Performs electrical repair on facility equipment• Performs general appliance repair on facility appliances and small equipment• Flexibility to work at other LSS and FM properties/facilities as needed
Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED required• Some college or vocational training preferred• 2-4 years of previous maintenance experience required• Experience dealing with homeless, low income, and diverse clients preferred• Knowledge of grounds and facility maintenance• Basic skills in carpentry, plumbing and electrical• Customer services skills
