Their duties include scheduling maintenance tasks, supervising Maintenance Workers and responding to maintenance emergencies.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Specific duties include but are not limited to:Conducting site inspections and identifying areas requiring extra maintenance workPerforming minor on-site repairsScheduling contractors for major repairs as requiredStaying on-call and responding to emergency maintenance needsDeveloping maintenance budgets, hiring maintenance crew and negotiating vendor contractsControlling and monitoring inventoryCoordinating work performed by outside vendorsAdditional projects, tasks, and events assignedSupervisory Responsibilities:                          Creating maintenance schedules and delegating tasks to team membersSupervising maintenance workers and ensuring they follow safe work practicesDiscussing maintenance concerns with the employer and communicating these to Maintenance WorkersQualifications:Required skills: Drywall repairs, Carpentry, Plumbing, Basic electrical, Painting, Fabrication, Assisting with ice installation and maintenance.Technical understanding of electrical, mechanic and hydraulic systems for planning and troubleshootingProficiency operating modern maintenance technology, including ERP and CRM systemsGood verbal communication skills, including active listening and the ability to translate complex informationOrganizational skills for scheduling maintenance tasks and ensuring job completion, even during emergenciesAttention to detail, ensuring maintenance tasks are not overlooked and minor site problems do not become major site problemsGood physical fitness for carrying heavy loads and performing other physically demanding tasksPosition Type/Expected Hours of Work:This is an exempt (salary) position.  Must be able to work flexible hours, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
