Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Machinists for projects located in and around the Tampa, FL area. This is a first shift opportunity with a pay rate of up to $30/hour based on experience & skill level. Job Scope: Machine all parts as required to exact specifications
Operate & set up raw stock to be machined after part is drawn
Write a NC program for the machine
Set up & operate large swing diameter lathes
Set up & operate long bed lathes
Take accurate measurements with precision measuring tools
Machine parts per drawings in large to small lathes
Keep a clean/safe work area
Other tasks as assigned
Requirements 10+ Years of Experience as a Manual Machinist
Must be proficient with Haas Controls, and Fusion360 CAD/CAM system
Must have Y-Axis/Live tooling, 4 & 5 axis milling, Programming, Set-Up, and Operational experience
Must be highly Experienced with Steady Rests & Live Centers for Long Machine Parts in Horizontal Boring Mill, etc.
HS Diploma or Equivalent
Ability to interpret drawings
Spray welding abilities/Experience Preferred
Machinist Certification or Apprenticeship Preferred
Technical Knowledge & Experience in Operating Manual Lathes & Manual Mills
