Machine Shop Supervisor

We are looking for a Machine Shop Supervisor to join our team and oversee the day-to-day operations of our machine shop. The ideal candidate will have experience in CAD, machine design, and 3D modeling and possess the skills necessary to oversee a machine shop. Position Overview: The Machine Shop Supervisor will be responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of the machine shop. They will oversee the day-to-day operations, manage staff, and ensure that the machine shop is running at peak efficiency. The Supervisor must have a thorough understanding of CAD, machine design, and 3D modeling and will be responsible for identifying problems and opportunities for improvement.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the machine shop. Manage staff and ensure that tasks are completed in a timely manner. Identify potential issues and create solutions to prevent them. Develop and implement procedures to ensure that the machine shop is operating at peak efficiency. Train staff on the safe and effective operation of the machine shop. Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues. Qualifications: Experience with CAD, machine design, and 3D modeling. Prior experience in a machine shop environment. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong organizational and leadership skills. Knowledge of manufacturing, bakery, and packaging equipment. Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and machine controls.
