The core mission of the Logistics Coordinator is to help streamline the inbound receiving process and provide client support.
About the Role:
This role will include the scheduling of all incoming shipments. The individual will need to be able to work with the inbound receiving team to understand space and labor availability to determine the optimal number and types of inbound shipments that can be scheduled daily. This individual will also be required to use our software tracking system to analyze future shipments and communicate this information to inbound management to help with labor scheduling a minimum of two weeks in advance. In addition, this individual will need to communicate daily with clients, carriers, and the inbound team to ensure that all empty equipment is picked up in a timely manner. This role will be expanded to other areas based on experience and ability.
Scheduling inbound shipments for Red Stag company wide. Analyzing data to project future volumes. Communicating with the inbound management team to ensure proper labor for incoming freight. Fleet management for both client and RSF equipment Assist in completing daily reports and analysis to make sure KPIs are met. Must have the ability to multi-task and keep track of various parts of the operation. Accurately input data into spreadsheets. A Degree in Supply Chain Management or 2+ years in a mid-level supply chain position. Prior warehouse experience preferred. Understanding of Red Stag Fulfillment's mission and core values. Excellent verbal communication skills. Ability to troubleshoot and think critically under pressure. Proficient skills operating computers and software. (Including but not limited to Microsoft Excel) Desired Characteristics:

Occasional prolonged periods of being in a stationary position at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities. Must be able to work on the warehouse floor including continuous time moving, regular transportation of freight up to 50 pounds (including team lifting of heavier items), reaching, bending, carrying, etc. Working in an environment where the temperature matches that of the outside temperature. This is a hybrid position; located out of our Knoxville Headquarters with some travel to our Sweetwater, TN location.
