Logistics And Transportation Manager

We are seeking a talented Supply Chain professional to join our team at Nevada Gold Mines as a Logistics and Transportation Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving our logistical and transportation processes to ensure the smooth flow of goods and materials across our mining operations in Nevada. Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and execute logistics and transportation program strategy, policies, and guidelines to drive shared goals and objectives across the entire supply chain. Accountable for setting targets, metrics, and key performance indicators for logistics and transportation performance in the region. Build strong relationships with service suppliers to ensure optimal transportation services at competitive pricing. Serve as a subject matter expert in customs and regulations related to modal planning. Assist in sourcing strategy and negotiations with carriers for rate agreements. Create regional risk profiles for logistics and transportation activities. Provide leadership in load planning and modal optimization to enhance productivity and cost-efficiency. Mentor and develop skills of direct and indirect reports within the supply chain organization. Ensure compliance with safety requirements and regulatory obligations. Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience in logistics and transportation planning. 5-7 years of management experience leading teams. Strong computer skills and knowledge of SAP or Oracle software. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed. What We Offer:
