Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Life Enrichment Partner to join our team. As a Life Enrichment Partner, you will be responsible for enhancing the lives of our residents by planning and implementing engaging activities and programs. Your goal will be to create a positive and fulfilling environment that promotes socialization, mental stimulation, and overall well-being.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- Previous experience working in a similar role, preferably in a senior living or healthcare setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Creativity and the ability to develop innovative and engaging activities
- Knowledge of the physical, mental, and emotional needs of seniors
- Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of others
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Life Enrichment team to design and implement a diverse range of activities, events, and programs that meet the social, intellectual, and emotional needs of our residents
- Conduct assessments and gather information on residents' preferences, hobbies, and interests to personalize activity plans
- Assist residents in participating in planned activities, ensuring their comfort, enjoyment, and safety
- Provide one-on-one interaction and engagement with residents who may require extra support or attention
- Maintain accurate records of activity participation and resident progress
- Coordinate with other departments and teams to integrate activities into the overall care plan of each resident
- Stay informed about current trends and developments in senior care and incorporate them into the activity programs
- Establish relationships with community organizations, volunteers, and local resources to enhance the diversity of programs and services offered
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols
- Proactively identify and address any challenges or concerns related to the Life Enrichment program
