Responsibilities
• Perform nursing acts under the delegation/supervision of the registered nurse or medical doctor• Administer nursing procedures and medications according to patients' care plans• Assist in rehabilitation programming and activities for residents• Record treatment given to patients and monitor their health• Transport/accompany patients to procedures• Maintain confidentiality related to patients, family, facility, and staff in accordance with HIPAA• Provide patient care in a non-judgmental, non-discriminatory manner• Perform other assigned duties
Requirements
• Completion of an accredited licensed practical nursing program• Current and unencumbered license in the state of practice• At least one year of experience in the last 3 years• Background screening as required• Current health provider CPR certification• TB Screening and baseline testing• Drug screening as required• Possible exposure to blood and bodily fluids• Ability to read medical equipment and documents• Ability to assist with moving and transporting patients
