Job Description SummaryCustomer facing staff responsible for winning business Operates with some autonomy but are typically subject to standard sales practices and procedures. The role is subject to regular review of sales results. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance. May be responsible for medium-sized sales territories.Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities:Formulates and executes proposal strategy and sales agreements for High Voltage Circuit Breaker business for US marketFormulates deal structure, pricing, proposal development, and assists in customer negotiationsDeliver the bid in line with agreed bid strategy, organize the tendering activities, Co-ordinate with Engineering, sourcing & project Management team to optimize the technical solution and commercial proposalBuild up the cost estimate, ensure all costs are properly validated and adequate risks provisions are considered for projectsLead preparation of tender documentation in line with bidding strategy. Ensure sufficient time is available for review and validation of documentation before submission to customerEnsure adherence to tendering procedures and tools, all relevant tender approvals and gates should be obtained and recorded in a timely manner. Provide support during the tender review process in addressing any concern so as to ensure on time delivery of the tender outputs. Also, ensure that all comments received during the Tender Approvals are recorded and addressed before submittal of the proposalOrder booking for the tenders as per the defined processes and successful handover to the execution teamContribute to win loss analysis – with development of higher level of proficiencyUtilizes in-depth knowledge of own and others sales territory, product lines, markets, sales processes or customer groups and uses analytical thinking and commercial experience to execute policy/strategyRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in electrical or mechanical engineering OR equivalent applicable work experience in circuit breaker or electrical utility businessMinimum 4 years of experience in sales and/or sales operations role/or role with similar responsibilities as outlined.Desired Characteristics:Experience inthe electrificationindustry.Knowledge of the industry & of market economics, competitive dynamics, technology and projectsWillingness to learn and grow in a role that can lead to a position as subject matter expertAdditional InformationGE offers a great work environment, professional development, challenging careers, and competitive compensation.
