The Radical in Asheville, NC is seeking an experienced Line Lead Cook 1 to join our team and help lead our kitchen staff. This is an opportunity to use your knowledge and experience to ensure consistency and quality for all dishes served at The Radical.All hourly positions are eligible for Radical Bonuses at the 45 and 90-day mark.Bonuses are subject to performance and attendance.Responsibilities:Monitor food preparation and presentation to ensure quality standards are metProvide coordinated staff and food production processes to ensure efficiency and quality of foodMonitor and maintain food inventory and order supplies as neededSupervise and direct the activities of kitchen staff to ensure proper food preparation and service timesInstruct kitchen staff on proper food handling techniques, sanitation, and food safety proceduresQualifications:Ability to provide US Work AuthorizationExtensive knowledge of Food ServiceAvailability for Nights and Weekends5+ years of experience in line cookingKnowledge of food safety and sanitation regulationsAbility to assist in leading a teamAbout Company:The Radical is opening very soon in the River Arts District, and we're looking to build a great team of hospitality professionals!
