We have an immediate opening for a Junior Accountant This position is located in Conneaut, Ohio
Starting pay is $17.00 to $24.00 an hour. Depending on experience.
Monday through Friday
8:30am- 5pm Job Summary:
The Junior Accounant will provide support by managing daily accounting tasks, including cash receipts, maintaining accounts receivable and accounts payable, & general data entry & reporting.
Well-versed in accounting principles and can work comfortably with numbers with keen attention to detail.
The goal is to contribute to the overall efficient operation of the department. Duties/Responsibilities: Daily posting of cash receipts
Inputting accounts payable invoices.
Ensuring timely payment of invoices and gathering appropriate signatures.
Maintaining an organized filing system for accounts payable invoices and cash receipts.
Assisting in gathering of documents for external audits.
General data entry & reporting to assist in Finance & Operations departments.
Required Skills/Abilities: Accurate data entry skills . Excellent proactive communication skills including active listening.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
Works efficiently with a sense of urgency.
Strong critical thinking, analytical & problem-solving skills.
Excellent IT skills.
Education and Experience: Successful completion of accounting classes.
Accounting experience in a manufacturing environment is a huge plus, but not needed.
Accounting experience is a plus, but will consider a recent graduate with accounting classes.
