Junior Accountant Ii

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Junior Accountant II to join our finance team. This role involves more complex accounting tasks and requires a higher level of expertise compared to a Junior Accountant I. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and be able to support various financial operations within the company.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Manage and reconcile complex accounts, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies. Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoicing, payments, and collections. Assist with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports. Conduct detailed financial analysis and provide insights to senior management. Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Prepare and file tax returns and other regulatory documents. Support month-end and year-end closing processes. Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance financial controls. Mentor and provide guidance to Junior Accountant I team members. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2-4 years of accounting experience, preferably in a similar role. Advanced understanding of GAAP and financial reporting. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Extensive experience with accounting software; SAP, Famous, Or Sage is preferred. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
