Adecco is seeking an International Logistics Specialist for our Trumbull, CT, manufacturing client.  $ 25 - $28 hr  - Immediate opening
Responsibilities for International Logistics Specialist include:
Prepare all international shipments, verifying compliance procedures
Preparation of export documentation, commercial invoices, shipper's letter of instruction, endorsement forms, airway bills and bills of lading
Determine the most economical means of shipping and contacting carriers
Liaise with customers through Customer service team to provide documentation, shipping and delivery status
Contact forwarding company for air freight shipments to obtain rate quotes and incorporate rates on invoicing
To be considered for the International Logistics Specialist:
3+ years logistics exp, export, documentation, and ocean/air transportation experience
Understanding of Harmonized Tariff Codes and extensive knowledge of import and export rules and regulations as published by the US CBP
Familiarity with international transportation marketplace and freight systems
General knowledge of shipping/warehouse procedures
Proficient in MS Office
Great time management skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Trumbull, CT location
Pay is $25 – 28 hr
Hours 9am – 5:30pm – Mondays - Fridays
