Seeking qualified Intake Training Specialist - Insurance MedBridge Healthcare is seeking experienced Intake Training Specialist - Insurance. MedBridge is a leading provider of sleep laboratory management services and sleep therapy.
MedBridge partners with hospitals and physician practices to offer comprehensive fully-integrated services for patient identification, testing, diagnosis, treatment and long-term care management of patients with sleep disorders.
Position Summary The Intake Training Specialist position entails comprehensive responsibility for the entirety of the training process, encompassing the development of training materials, establishment of training schedules, and all associated facets of training administration.
Primary Duties Develop and regularly update comprehensive training materials in alignment with organizational goals and industry standards. Facilitate all aspects of new hire training programs, ensuring a smooth transition into the company's culture and operational procedures. Coordinate and deliver supplemental training sessions, including educational classes and workshops, to enhance employee skills and knowledge Design and implement assessment tools and training modules to gauge employee proficiency and progression, establishing clear benchmarks for advancement. Conduct regular training evaluations to measure the effectiveness of training programs, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement. Generate detailed reports on training activities, progress, and outcomes on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to inform management and stakeholders. Foster effective communication channels with department heads and team leaders to ensure seamless integration of trained employees into their respective roles and work environments. Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure training content remains current, relevant, and aligned with industry best practices. Provide ongoing support and guidance to trainees, addressing any questions, concerns, or challenges they may encounter during the training process. Stay abreast of emerging trends and developments in training methodologies, instructional design, and technology-enhanced learning to continuously improve training effectiveness and efficiency. Actively participate as a member of the authorization team during periods when training demands are lower. Qualifications A robust comprehension of medical insurance authorization processes and proficient data entry skills are essential prerequisites for this role. Proficiency in scheduling systems and data entry procedures, coupled with a meticulous attention to accuracy and detail. Proven track record in delivering effective training sessions, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and engagingly. Prior work experience in the healthcare industry, providing a solid foundation in healthcare practices, regulations, and workflows. Familiarity with medical terminology, enabling effective communication with medical professionals and staff. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, facilitating clear and concise interactions with team members, clients, and stakeholders. Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and completeness in all tasks and documentation. Ability to work remotely with minimal interruptions, replicating the productivity and professionalism of an office environment. Consistent record of excellent attendance and reliability in previous positions, demonstrating a strong commitment to professional responsibilities. Access to high-speed internet connectivity at home, ensuring seamless remote work capabilities. Residency in one of the following states and availability to work in the Eastern Standard Time (EST) zone: Connecticut (CT), Delaware (DE), District of Columbia (DC), Florida (FL), Georgia (GA), Maryland (MD), New York (NY), North Carolina (NC), Ohio (OH), Pennsylvania (PA), South Carolina (SC), Virginia (VA), or West Virginia (WV).
