Position Overview: As an ISCS Associate you will be responsible for new sales with existing and new customers. You will also be accountable for key accounts as a primary point-of-contact for issues and inquiry resolution. Sales leads will be generated from existing customers, new customers through acquisition, internet sales leads and phone calls. The ideal candidate has deep industry experience with specifically industrial, hydraulic and metal hose as well as associated fluid conveyance components.
Key Responsibilities: The primary responsibility is closing new business opportunities. You're part of a team of inside and outside sales professionals with an individual contributor role. Performance will be measured on new accounts and sales pipeline dollars closed. Accountability for assigned key accounts and all issues as well as inquiries raised by key contacts. Create accurate and detailed Sales Quotes in TrulinX ERP and document response time in a Sales Quote Tracker. Responsible for developing quotes based on RFPs, internet sales leads by email and phone calls. Deep industry experience is required to provide solutions to customer requests not simply transpose part number requirements. Attention to detail with creating "Required by" dates. Responsible for following up with purchasing when there is a need to procure items and with production based on the Customer Service Level Report. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a technical field. Minimum of 5 years' experience in sales for an industrial, hydraulic and / or metal hose manufacturer and distributor. 10 years of experience will be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree. Direct industry experience is required. Continuous learning opportunities will be provided but the ideal candidate will be ready to deliver results on Day 1. Proficiency in TrulinX ERP or similar software, with the ability to quickly learn ways of working inside the system not outside. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products. Must be able to use Teams and know how to collaborate with remote team members. Ability to interpret technical specifications and drawings. PPAPs may be assigned to Engineering but should be fully understood by the ISCS Associate. A track record of new sales growth not simply account management is required. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organization.
