Responsibilities
• Efficiently manage the accounts payable process, including invoice verification, coding, and timely payment processing.• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve any discrepancies and ensure accurate financial reporting.• Reconcile vendor statements and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders.• Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance standards related to insurance accounting.• Contribute to the month-end close process by preparing relevant financial reports.
Requirements
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related, Bachelor's PREFERRED, Associate's is a MUST• 2-3 years of proven experience in accounts payable, preferably but necessary within the insurance industry.• Proficient in accounting software Quickbooks and Microsoft Excel.• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet tight deadlines.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
