Description: Works together with the other restaurant leaders in order to accomplish the Owner/Operator's vision for the restaurant.  Works closely in assisting the general manager.  This position oversees all Human Resource relations with the current team and any existing applicants. Approximately 30+ hours HR work weekly. The candidate has the option to work additional hours (40+ total weekly hours) in the food service operation, hospitality or kitchen. This is NOT A REMOTE position. Significant personal and professional GROWTH OPPORTUNITY in this position. Requires previous HR experience. Responsibilities: Oversee HigherMe platform - daily reading and organizing applications, responding to every new applicant within 24 hours Account monitoring - organize and maintain our Trello boards, Calendly interview slots, and Google Calendar events Interviews - conducting screening and in-person interviews as necessary Handling New Hires - conducting hiring calls, making job offers, understanding pay structure, effectively communicating next steps Orientation - planning, preparing, and clearly executing an orientation for new hires, understanding restaurant policies, procedures, and culture Business reporting - ad hoc tracking and reporting Email monitoring - respond to new applicants, current team members, and Chick-fil-A corporate Restaurant operations - as above, potential to work in restaurant operations, serving our guests and team Depending on how the position is tailored to the candidate, there may be work/ requests outside of the schedule - being required to work from home, come to the restaurant, answer calls, or complete urgent requests beyond the schedule Qualities: Highly organized Excellent problem solving skills Great follow through to completion Thick-skinned - able to take constructive criticism - and apply it High level of ownership - takes responsibility  Highly driven  Thrives with autonomy Able to work both independently and in teams High expectations of self Willing and able to "figure it out" Knows when to ask for help Effectively communicates to a range of personalities High level of maturity and discipline - manages time well, prioritizes work Deeply cares about quality of work Represents our organization and brand well Smiles Loves serving people Trustworthy Positive, optimistic attitude Reliable, dependable Enjoys the details Proactively seeks work, problems and solutions Consistent with Chick-fil-A's companywide culture Calm under pressure Multitasks to lead a number of projects at the same time Benefits: Sundays off 100% PAID TUITION at our partner school Point University ( Career options to become a CFA franchisee or staff member for CFA Inc.
