Participate in implementation, enforcement, and maintenance activities of the URENCO USA (UUSA) Industrial Safety and Chemical Safety Programs. Education and Experience
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor?s degree from an accredited University and and 3 ? 5 years of related experience in industrial and construction safety.

Must have strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Work from detailed instructions or where variation in procedure is limited.
Budgeting responsibilities up to $250,000
Work is routine, consisting of simple, repetitive operations.
Demonstrate knowledge of industrial and construction safety compliance standards.
Demonstrated ability to work with personnel at all levels within an organization, with emphasis on leadership, team building, and meeting organizational objectives.
Self-motivated and driven to manage and complete projects/assignments under short time constraints with little or no supervision.
Ability to work independently.
Familiar with Documentum, and SAP.
Attention to detail essentials with aptitude for strong demonstration of correct grammar.
Ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented group environment.
Strong organizational skills.
Job Details The work location for this position is Urenco USA, Eunice, NM.
Work Schedule: Professional work schedule/ with minimal night/ weekend support. Some nights and weekend work may be required. Employees are also subject to call-outs as needed.
Travel Required: 25% of the time or less as required.
Security Clearance Requirement: Controlled Access Area (CAA) Access and an L or Q level security clearance is required.
Work Environment: Radiological exposure expectations of Primary Functions Responsible for assisting in the implementation, enforcement, and maintenance of UUSA industrial safety programs in accordance with company initiatives and all applicable state and federal guidelines.
Support implementation of URENCO group-wide industrial safety program campaign.
Support audits, surveillances, inspections, and assessments by quality assurance and external regulating organizations.
Assist with development and training of UUSA employees to support all aspects of industrial and chemical safety.
Analyze unsafe conditions and assist in developing corrective action plans.
Conduct incident investigations.
Prepare and submit regular reports to appropriate government agencies.
Perform and review basic analyses, calculations, and evaluations in support of the facility and assigned programs and projects.
Maintain records of findings, violations, and recommendations for corrective action.
Recommend changes in policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all industrial safety regulations, guidelines and best practices.
May perform general emergency preparedness tasks and activities as assigned by the HS&EP Manager in support of the department.
Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
