Our team is seeking an experienced Project Manager for infrastructure projects, specializing in highways and bridges.
Responsibilities
* Manage all aspects of heavy civil construction projects, from planning and design to construction and completion.
* Develop and implement project plans and schedules to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
* Oversee all project activities, including procurement, subcontracts, and field operations.
* Manage and supervise project teams, including engineers, technicians, and subcontractors.
* Monitor project progress and identify and mitigate potential risks.
* Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations and environmental standards.
* Prepare and submit project reports to clients and stakeholders.
Qualifications
* Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
* 10+ years of project management experience in heavy civil construction, with a strong emphasis on highways and bridges.
* Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
* Experience with project management software, such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
* Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.

Relevant Experience
* Managed the construction of a new 2-mile highway interchange, including earthwork, paving, drainage, and bridges.
* Oversaw the rehabilitation of a 100-year-old bridge, including structural repairs, painting, and new flooring.
* Led the construction of a new wastewater treatment plant, including excavation, tank installation, and piping.
* Developed and implemented a comprehensive safety program for a large construction project, resulting in a zero-incident record.
* Successfully negotiated and resolved contract disputes with subcontractors.
