Summary of Position: As a Production Associate at 2M Resources Corp., you will play a critical role in the efficient operation of our glass recycling facility. You will work with a team on the glass recycling process and contribute to the attainment of recycling targets while upholding the company's commitment to quality and safety. Follows direction of the Team Lead and Manager in safe operation of equipment in the production of recycled material. Communicates with Team Lead and Maintenance regarding any equipment problems or equipment that may need preventative maintenance or repair work performed to ensure safety and maximum operating efficiency. Knows all safety warning signs and signals and takes corrective action. Remains current on plant and safety matters, participating regularly in plant safety meetings. Participates in continuous improvement efforts in regard to product quality, environmental, health, and safety. Education: High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Observe safety and security procedures, report potentially unsafe conditions, and use equipment and materials properly. Accurately count and perform basic math functions, including mental calculation of simple equations and/or fractions. Proficient in English (reading and writing). Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Must be able to pass all requirements to operate a forklift.
