Job SummaryThe Financial Administration Senior Analyst, Assistant Vice-President ("AVP") oversees the preparation of monthly, semi-annual and annual reports for investment companies in accordance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles ("GAAP") and Securities and Exchange Commission ("SEC") requirements.The AVP collaborates with other members of Financial Administration to support the analysis, monitoring, and implementation of expense budgets, timely payment of fund expenses, monthly and annual excise distribution processes, along with other reporting such as Total Returns, Board reporting and year-end tax reporting requirements.Responsibilities:Are the primary contact for clients; respond proactively to internal and external client inquiriesManage the preparation of financial statements and review SEC filings (e.g. N-PORT, N-MFP, N-CSR, N-CEN and 24F-2, N-1A etc.)Are the primary contact of the annual audit processAre responsible for timely and accurate expense budgeting and paymentsOversee monthly and quarterly client reporting (e.g. Total Returns and preparation of Board reports)Demonstrate an advanced understanding of investment types, mutual funds, ETFs and financial marketsLead training sessions to increase the team's knowledgeCoordinates fund year-end reporting (e.g. 1099-NEC and ICI Reporting)Identifies and/or implements process improvements to reduce risk and improve efficiencyManage client projects and initiativesParticipates in department committees and other initiativesQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or business-related area or equivalent work experience5-7 years accounting or reporting experience in the registered investment company or financial services industryPrior team lead or supervisory experience preferredExperience with FIS InvestOne fund accounting platform, including MBOR and OLE functionality, is a plusExperience with Confluence Unity financial reporting platform, including Publishing and Workbook functionality, is a plusAdvanced experience working with Microsoft Office applications required, specifically ExcelAbility to demonstrate the following attributes consistently:Excellent attention to detail, a sense of urgency for deadlines, and solid organizational skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills to foster client and internal relationshipsOversee the completion of daily workflow in accordance to internal controls and proceduresProactively balance team resources and workflow requirementsWillingness to work outside of normal work hours when necessarily, particularly during peak financial reporting cyclesConduct monthly coaching/feedback sessions with direct staffEscalate issues timely and appropriately to senior managementDevelop/deliver executive summary reporting to senior management and clientsOversee projects effectivelyMotivated to continuous self-improvementAbility to promote a positive working environment and influence others to embody the Citi CultureEducation:Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience------------------------------------------------------Job Family Group:Operations - Transaction Services------------------------------------------------------Job Family:Fund Accounting------------------------------------------------------Time Type:Full time------------------------------------------------------Primary Location:Columbus Ohio United States------------------------------------------------------Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:$81,600.00 - $122,400.00In addition to salary, Citi's offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
