• Answering phones and greeting patients• Scheduling patient appointments• Collecting patient demographic and insurance information• Maintaining non-clinical supplies• Receiving and documenting patient payments• Ensuring efficient and productive front office operation• Knowledge of insurance rules and regulations• Provide excellent customer service to patients• Maintain patient confidentiality• Adhere to medical office policies and procedures
Requirements
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred• One year experience in a medical/business office setting• Knowledge of insurance rules and regulations• Medical terminology knowledge preferred• Experience with computer scheduling systems preferred• Bilingual in English/Spanish strongly preferred
