Responsibilities
• Determining amount and placing orders of fresh product from vendors• Maintaining freshness levels and dynamic presentation of products• Upholding safety/health standards in cooler, fresh meat, and produce areas• Providing superior customer service, answering questions, and assisting with special requests• Receiving, inspecting, and merchandising products accurately• Executing end cap and planograms, maintaining store backstock organization• Assisting with merchandising through count verification, inventory adjustments, and sign maintenance• Safely operating power equipment such as slicing equipment, tow motors, and forklifts• Adhering to company values, philosophy, and applicable practices
Requirements
• At least 18 years of age• Currently enrolled in a high school program or have high school diploma/GED• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs• 1 year of retail customer service experience with fresh products preferred• Good written and verbal communication skills• Ability to provide superior customer service and multitask• Ability to work independently or within a team• Basic math and computer skills
