POSITION SUMMARY Perform multiple work functions and operate associated production equipment within the pre-lube seal operations area.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS To accomplish this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.
Operate and maintain spray coating equipment to evenly coat and cure seals. Install, align and lock specified punches, dies, or other fixtures in rams or beds of machines, using gauges, templates, feelers, shims and hand tools. Set up, operate and maintain machines that press together seal components, as directed by standard work instructions. Set up, operate and maintain machines that grease seals, as directed by standard work instructions. Set up, operate and maintain equipment that assist in the manual and automatic packing of processed product, as directed by standard work instructions. Stage pack-out station for external customers with boxes or for internal customers with storage bins, in accordance with standard work instructions. Perform ongoing inspection of parts to verify conformance to specifications. Notify leadership of production problems, alarms or faults and assist in analyzing and correcting these problems. Perform required cleaning and preventative maintenance on equipment. The ideal candidate will be able to work up to a 12-hour shift and have some manufacturing experience.
