Financial Representative

Job summary
The Financial Representative will manage accounts receivable and optimize collections for Colorado ENT & Allergy.Responsibilities include working aging reports, appealing payments, and developing payment plans for patients.Requirements include an associate's degree or equivalent experience, as well as proficiency in database and word processing software.

Responsibilities
• Manage accounts receivable to maintain goals set by Administrator and Board of Directors• Work aging reports and collect outstanding monies• Correct patient and insurance information as required• Assist with incoming and outgoing mail• Keep physicians informed regarding collection status• Return all phone calls within 24 business hours• Appeal payments that are below contract allowable• Develop payment plans for patients as necessary• In-service other departments of changes in insurance requirements• Comply with regulatory requirements
Requirements
• Associate's degree or equivalent experience and/or training• Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple correspondence• Ability to effectively present information to customers and employees• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations• Knowledge of database and word processing software
