W ork Schedule : 100% FTE, 40 hours per week. Scheduled shifts are 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday. This is a hybrid remote position. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a Financial Counselor to:
Provide patients with estimated costs for upcoming services. Assist patients with setting up a personalized plan to resolve both their outstanding charges and estimated charges for scheduled services. Help patients apply and review UW Health Financial Assistance applications. Education : Minimum – High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred – Associate degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration or related field
Work Experience : Minimum – One (1) year experience in Health Care Revenue Cycle, insurance, or financial institution
Preferred – Two (2) years' experience in Healthcare Revenue Cycle
