Responsibilities
• Data collection, entry, and evaluation• Monitor planting operations and maintain seed beds• Maintain records related to contracting and consulting• Assist in training seasonal workforce• Execute department's safety program• Monitor growers' fields for crop production, weeds, and pests• Develop relationships with stakeholders• Perform other assigned duties
Requirements
• Agricultural experience• Majors in Agriculture preferred• Attention to detail and accuracy• Ability to work in a team environment• Effective written and verbal communication• Ability to work with all levels of the organization• Ability to work long hours (10-12 hrs/day, 7 days a week)• Computer skills (Microsoft Office software)• Valid driver's license• Season runs from April to September
