Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Federal Business Development Manager to expand their presence within the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and Federal Civilian markets. This position, reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer, is pivotal in identifying, pursuing, and securing high-value opportunities that drive the growth and success of the organization.

Responsibilities Strategic Relationship Development: Build and cultivate relationships with potential teaming partners and small businesses to expand collaborative opportunities. Strategic Planning: Assist in the creation and execution of strategic plans specifically tailored for the HHS market. Industry Engagement: Represent the company through proactive outreach and engagement with industry organizations, enhancing the company's visibility and reputation. Client Relationship Management: Oversee client relationships to identify new opportunities and ensure successful project delivery. Capture Management: Lead capture activities, including assembling industry teams, assessing win probability, and developing effective win strategies. Internal Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders to secure the necessary resources and support for business development initiatives. Contract Management: Maintain and nurture relationships with existing contracts to drive growth and ensure client satisfaction. Requirements Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, emergency management, public administration, or equivalent experience. Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience working with federal clients, with a focus on HHS. Track Record: Demonstrated success in winning significant new business opportunities, particularly in the $50M-$100M+ range. Knowledge: Strong understanding of federal procurement processes and HHS organizational structures. Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities effectively. Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with government research and procurement tools.
