Eastern Connecticut Health Network (ECHN) hospital system is seeking a Family Medicine Program Director physician to lead an excellent ACGME accredited Family Medicine Residency Program opportunity, located in picturesque Manchester, Connecticut.The family medicine residency program is in its eleventh year of advanced teaching.Eastern Connecticut Health Network's prominent community-focused site provides expert clinical and academic training, supported by a collaborative and core faculty physician team.

Responsibilities
• Oversee the Family Medicine Residency administrative operations and clinical outpatient supervision with the assistant program director.• Participate in residency recruitment through the National Residency Matching Program.• Responsible for innovative and continued program curriculum policy, procedure, and medical education development.• Evaluate faculty and residents.• Provide strategic operation leadership.• Contribute to quality core initiatives of compassion and excellence.
Requirements
• Board Certified in Family Medicine.• Prior experience preferred in medical education of residents, medical students, and core faculty leadership, assistant program director, program director experience and/or related academic leadership experience.• Connecticut Licensed, Federal DEA, and Controlled Substance Registration or soon eligible.
