Job Description:
Coordinate general facility maintenance and grounds upkeep for the Auxiliary Services contract vendor spaces such as LSU Dining venues, Bookstore, and several warehouse spaces to include capital improvements, general maintenance, infrastructure repairs, and preventative maintenance. Submit/monitor LSU Facility Services work orders related to facilities of responsibility for accuracy, completion and proper billing. Maintain records and provide historical data/information for trouble shooting mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems. Serve as liaison with LSU Facility Services on maintenance projects. 35%
Property custodian for LSU Auxiliary Services equipment/furnishings. Maintain and update property inventory, to include audits and inspections of departmental units. Ensures asset inventory is accurate and up to date. Coordinate with LSU Property for tagging of new property and ensuring proper paperwork. Also responsible for documentation and transfer of surplus items to State Property. Ensures Risk Management claims are filed accurately for property damage and theft claims. 30%
Conduct on-site quality assurance inspections of LSU Dining facilities to ensure quality service and facilities for the LSU community and maintains appropriate documentation. Schedule and provide oversight for the cleaning and maintenance of Dining hood, exhaust, and fire suppression systems. Also responsible for scheduling waste removal and maintenance for the Dining grease trap systems. Maintain record of all annual inspections such as pest control, food service, and Environmental Health and Safety in a departmental shared drive. Asset inventory to include conducting on-site quality assurance inspections of all LSU vending operations (beverage and snack) and ATM, ensuring quality service and maintaining contract compliance documentation. 30%

The coordinator is the main facilities liaison for the Auxiliary Services contract vendors' spaces. Monitors general and preventative maintenance, repairs, renovations, and capital improvements in these spaces, which includes all LSU Dining venues, LSU Bookstore, and several warehouse spaces such as the UPS River Road space. The coordinator is also responsible for all asset inventory, and all quality assurance of the beverage (Coke) and snack (Ten M) vending. Involves some evenings/nights, occasional duty for extended business hours and coverage during campus emergencies.
