About This RoleIn our quest to make the home buying process more accessible, we are building out our suite of services offered to include escrow and title.  We are looking for an escrow officer to join our growing team! As an Escrow Officer with Divvy Title, you will serve as an expert in the closing process, working closely with agents, buyers, sellers, and lenders to see each facilitate a successful resale or refinance transaction.Please note:This is a hybrid position.Responsibilities:Comply with state and federal laws governing escrow transactions and escrow trust accounts.Open escrows and communicate with all parties involved to coordinate the transfer of the deposit into escrow and collect all information necessary to set up the file.Prepare and deliver preliminary fees.Prepare and deliver documents for signature.Review title commitment and resolve curative issues.Schedule closings.Review executed loan documents and return to lender for funding review and approval, in accordance with their specific instructions.Perform clerical duties such as filing, answering phones, typing forms and corresponding with parties to the transaction.Manage tasks and workflow for assistants and processors working directly on your transactions.Skills & Experience:Strong communicator, who can work cross-functionally with multiple teams.Technical aptitude and ability to communicate effectively with customers via phone and email.Strong Business Development skills and relationships with established clientele Ability to work in a fast-paced, high growth environment as an individual contributor and in collaboration with others.A high degree of organization.Computer competencyProficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.Fluency with escrow and title software, ideally Qualia.5+ years of experience in escrow and closingStrong focus on problem-solving with excellent customer service skills.State licenses are encouraged, but not required for hiring.Ability to multitask effectively and handle a high volume of transactions.Perks & Benefits:Flexible PTO and company-sponsored Modern Health coaching and therapy sessionsCompetitive salary + equity90% paid medical benefits for you and your dependents (medical, dental, vision)401k match & access to a financial planner$1,000 annual professional development stipend$350 remote workspace allowance$250 monthly co-working space stipend16 weeks paid parental leave Recognized as Time 100's most influential companies of 2022 & a Great Place to Work
