Your Opportunity

We are currently looking for a Program Manager to support our hydrogen program and other alternative energy initiatives across the Mountain Region. As a senior Planner, Engineer, or Scientist, you will work with our team in business development and pursue strategies working towards sustained growth in this evolving market. You will serve as a subject matter expert in Hydrogen facilities planning and compliance matters.

Your Responsibilities
Develop business strategies to further Hydrogen or other Energy Transition markets with existing clients
Identify and work with multi-disciplinary program teams to develop new clients
Develop pursuit plans for upcoming key opportunities
Establish and maintain positive internal and external stakeholder relationships
Support development of scope, schedule and cost estimates related to environmental aspects of project pursuits
Support project execution to include client service and quality
Understand and ensure that client expectations are met or exceeded

Qualifications

Your Capabilities and Credentials
Energy and environmental services industry background
Strong business development experience
Engineering or Science foundation
Hydrogen/energy transition and knowledge
Sound problem-solving skills
Excellent organizational and communication (written and oral) skills
Ability to perform in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Ability to multitask, in both capacities of handling multiple projects, and be able to carry out multiple tasks and scalability within each project
Genuine team player who will encourage teamwork with the project team and with other discipline staff
High level of initiative and ability to complete tasks on schedule and budget
Willingness to go the 'extra mile' to support projects, customers and fellow employees
Focused on providing quality services to the customers in a timely manner
Knowledge of project management principles and processes
Willingness to travel on occasion (1 to 3 day trips per month)
Must have a good driving record and valid Driver's License.
Prior to employment with Stantec, this position may require the successful passing of a drug & alcohol screen
Specific training, knowledge, and experience necessary to develop, review, and coordinate complex energy project permit applications under state and federal agencies such as the Oregon Energy Facilities Siting Council (EFSC), Washington Energy Facility Site Evaluation Council (EFSEC), and Department of Energy National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA)

Education and Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science with minimum of 10 years of experience. Experience working in the energy sector, engineering, environmental and consulting company preferred.

Pay transparency laws require employers to provide the following information for positions that may be in the following jurisdiction(s):

Salary Range(s):
$139,000 - $208,600 Min/Max Pay Range for postings located in CO and HI
$149,200 - $223,700 Min/Max Pay Range for postings located in WA

The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.

Benefits Summary:

Regular full-time and part-time employees have access to medical, dental, and vision plans, a wellness program, health saving accounts, flexible spending accounts, 401(k) plan, employee stock purchase program, life and accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D) insurance, short-term/long-term disability plans, emergency travel benefits, tuition reimbursement, professional membership fee coverage and paid family leave. Regular full-time and part-time employees will receive ten paid holidays in each calendar year. In addition, employees will be eligible to accrue vacation between 10 and 20 days per year and eligible for paid sick leave (and if more generous, in accordance with state and local law).

Temporary/casual employees have access to 401(k) plans, employee stock purchase program, and paid leave, in accordance with state and local law.
Washington state employees are eligible to accrue 1 hour of paid sick leave for every 40 hours worked except for Seattle employees who accrue sick leave in accordance with the city's paid sick leave law.

The benefits information listed above may not apply to union positions because benefits for such positions are governed by applicable collective bargaining agreements.
