Engineering Manager/Lead

Our client is one of the leading technology companies in Vietnam who is looking for a talent to join their firm:

Oversee the establishment of superior, impactful, and scalable products and systems that satisfy customer needs and company objectives

Maintain the availability and reliability of the production system, and optimize infrastructure cost

Manage expectations for team performance regarding engineering and quality procedures, delivery speed, architecture, design, and code quality

Attract, nurture, and retain outstanding engineers who grow in a creative, fast-paced, and user-centric environment

Collaborate with other engineering managers and engineers from various platforms and domains

Establish measurable and explicit objectives for the engineer team

Encourage a culture of ongoing development and progress by providing feedback, coaching, mentoring, and measurable, concrete results

Coordinate with the product manager and designers on product plans and discovery

Assist in developing and expanding the engineering department

Provide mentorship for engineers by imparting technical knowledge, industry insights, and leadership skills

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, Computer Science, or related majors

At least 5 years of working experience in the industry with a minimum of 1 year working as an engineering manager

Experienced in managing and leading multicultural product engineering team

Solid understanding of open-source, cloud-native software, and distributed systems in different programming languages

Having a good background of CS, software development, architecture, and design

Familiar with software architectures, techniques, and technologies

Business, product, and user-centric mindset

Resourceful and result-driven

Excellent problem-solving and teamwork
