Responsibilities
• Overseeing all day-to-day activities of the Engineering team• Coordinating with engineering, manufacturing, and supply teams• Developing and guiding the program manufacturing and tooling plan• Ensuring the identification and implementation of advanced manufacturing technologies• Improving manufacturing processes to support the type design• Managing change control and configuration requirements• Developing and establishing requirements for fabrication, forming, tooling, machining, and manufacturing configurations• Utilizing MRP system to ensure all tasks are completed• Leading teams to establish standards of operation and drive performance• Managing projects and driving new process development
Requirements
• Knowledge and experience with Catia and other CAD/CAM systems• Experience with CNC machining• Prefer experience in heat treatment, forming, machining, and fabrication of aluminum and aluminum alloys• Experience with MRP or ERP systems• Excellent computer skills and experience with Microsoft applications• Ability to define and translate engineering requirements to manufacturing processes• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve process discrepancies• Experience with AS9100/NADCAP requirements• Engineering degree or equivalent experience• 5 or more years of engineering experience in the Aerospace industry• 3+ years of team management experience• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written• Prefer bilingual English and Spanish
